EMA member, the Malta Institute of Management, is organising a one day international conference, to be held on 8 February 2008, focusing on EU Tax Law.  The conference brings together Government representatives and expert speakers including:

• Professor Philip Baker, Gray's Inn Tax Chambers
• Hon Dr Charles Mangion, Deputy Leader of the Malta Labour Party and Shadow Minister of Finance

• The European Convention on Human Rights and taxation of companies
• Current developments in EU tax law
• The Community concept of tax avoidance
