EMA's First Networking Forum
"The European Management Association´s first Networking Forum with its theme of ‘TurningCrisis into New Opportunities through Creativity and Innovation’ was a great success. The Forum hosted an impressive blend of participants from 8 countries, with diverse backgrounds and experience. This has made the Networking Forum a most inspiring exercise and a high calibre experience. The Forum also discussed the role of EMA as a platform and catalyst of state-of-the art management knowledge and best practice sharing. This will help to redefine EMA´s vision for the next decade.“ Dr.Ondrej Landa, Chairman, Czech Society for Strategic Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship 1st EMA Networking Forum Facilitator
"IDEO´s Mat Hunter, the keynote speaker, delivered a wonderful presentation on Wednesday that served as a good basis for the Forum. The Networking Forum discussions were very enriching. EMA should boil the rich outputs down to 5 main action points to be fully implemented and put into effect.“ Dr. Peter Rudhart, RKW – Rationalisierungs- u. Innovationszentrum der deutschen Wirtschaft
"Dr. Landa’s organisation and facilitation of the 1st EMA Networking Forum tangibilised my dream - the Forum had acted as a means of bringing together a number of participants from various organisations from different countries, thus creating true opportunities for authentic networking.“ Joseph Zammit, Bank of La Valetta and Malta Institute of Management
"I was particularly struck by the mission/vision that the Forum participants have come up with for EMA.“ William Leonard, Chartered Management Institute, UK
"Prague Networking Forum was an interesting, enriching and dynamic experience.“ Prof. Delia Popescu, Centre of Economic and Management Research, Romania
"The participation of so many people produced new inputs and ideas; therefore, EMA should encourage the participation of more and more people in future.“ Prof. Pranas Zukauskas, Baltic Management Foundation, Lithuania
"The Forum provided me with inspiring ideas I will immediately put into practice in our organisation.“ Pavol Molnar, Slovak Committee for Scientific Management
"The Networking Forum was a marvellous event that fulfilled my expectations. We should discuss at the next Forum if and how the outcomes generated here in Prague shall have been put into practice.“ Milan Hutkai, Executives LLP, Slovakia
"For me, the Networking Forum, with people of different cultural and professional backgrounds working together, was most interesting. EMA should organise more events of this kind during the year.“ Camelia Enescu, TAROM Airlines, Romania
"The Networking Forum was very inspiring as it sought to find practical response to the current international financial crisis.“ Dr. Robert Troska, Czech Committee for Scientific Management
"Through the Prague Networking Forum EMA has given a tangible value to its members. The Forum also served to attract new organisations to EMA, such as The Conference Board or the Slovak Committee for Scientific Management. All participants´ comments on the Forum being positive, EMA will support and promote similar Networking Fora on a regular basis.“ Lawrence Mizzi, President, EMA – European Management Association
